Ideas about note organization and ease of use
Hi all, been with Jobber awhile and this has always been an issue for us. We're an appliance repair company. Our office and techs use the note spaces for everything. This though makes that space noisy and important details get lost in the mix often. I had suggested many years ago a folder system that would allow the user to select which folder they wanted the notes to go into. This would have resolved all our issue but alas this has not happened. Ideally, I want to keep everything in jobber and not have to involve other programs. Has anyone had this issue and found a way to mitigate it? Thanks all, Me25Views3likes2CommentsTAGS>
I am praying that we get a way for us to send our email campaigns out not by tags, but by line item titles. We own a tree company, so I would love to send emails out to our Oak Tree homeowners. We are on year 4 and I recently switched to Jobber email campaigns. I went through our whole client list in MailChimp and tagged each homeowner's account for this. Now that I am with jobber, I would have to go through 1000s of clients and put tags on each one. This would be so tedious as I would have to open each estimate to see what type of trees were listed for each project. Is there a way around this? Being able to use Jobber email marketing and focusing on one type of tree (client) without going through every single client and making tags?31Views1like3CommentsDo jobs ever go missing from the calendar?
Hey guys, every few days we find out a job went completely missing in the calendar after completing it. The client messages us saying that they didn't get their invoice so we look into it and the job went missing.. the weird part is the timesheets show the employees clock in time but the job is missing from the calendar. Has anyone else experienced this?13Views1like2CommentsInvoice reminders on Jobs I get paid cash
I've been using jobber for 2 years now and there is a problem that I have just been dealing with. 90% of my jobs I get paid in cash. And at the end of every month I have a 50-100 invoice reminders that I have to drag and unschedule once every month it takes me about 20 minutes. Is there an option that I am unaware of to remove invoice reminders? If there isn't an option can the developers create something like that. I'm sure it would be very helpful for current users.29Views2likes3CommentsCollections
We have found a major piece missing from Jobber is a section for Collections. How do you handle collections? We have multiple jobs for one client and when calling on overdue invoices there isn't a section where the notes can be kept that relates to just collections--don't want to muddy the info available on specific jobs as the collection notes relate to multiple jobs. Love to hear your ideas or apps or anything to streamline within Jobber.41Views2likes3CommentsReferral Feature - Choosing incentive structure
What incentive option are you all finding works best; percentage-based vs. set dollar amount? I'm curious about what others are doing to spread the word about this new referral system to existing clients and prospective clients (aside from the email campaigns within Jobber)How Zapier and Jobber Integrations Can Make Your Life Easier

Hi Community! One challenge we face is keeping track of fill in jobs or jobs that need a follow up visit but dont know exactly when it will happen. Having one central location or a way to keep track of all of these for easy reference would be key. We try to use the job status' as much as possible but turns out this does not always work. The work around we have done is creating a new customer named "Fill In" then created a new job titled "Fill In Jobs List". Now techs or **bleep** can add a new line item with scope of work, estimated duration and job number. Each new line item represents a separate fill in job. This puts all our fill ins in one location and we can reference it then direct to the job number in Jobber for scheduling. This works but don't feel its scalable. Curious what others have been doing for this! Thanks, Carson
