Most impactful tool for your industry?

What is one tool or piece of equipment that you wished you invested in sooner? Share what it is + your industry!

  • Jobber has been a major improvement for us, but equipment wise on the job would be the gas powered wheelbarrow PileDriver. Concrete landscape edging installer. My guys really like the fact they don't have to push the concrete in a wheel barrow across a lawn or through loose topsoil.  Improved company morale less fatigue at the end of the day.

  • Jobber, has been the most important piece of equipment we use. we have been with them for 4 years. wish i would have found them sooner. Best thing for us and growing our company.

  • We are a Marine Sanitation and Plumbing Company.  All of our equipment and tools have been helpful but game changer... Investing in larger vans (Transit Connects to Transits).  Our biggest game changers though are Jobber and hiring a book keeper.

Ooo yes, larger vans–gotta love the extra space!

  • Software would be Jobber 100% Equipment: I’ve pretty much purchased everything as soon as I have needed small items.  I invested in my first dump trailer as soon as I opened the business.  Just bought trailer number 2 and hope 3 comes in the next 6 months.

It's great to hear Jobber is making such a positive impact on your business. Having a dump trailers from the start must have made a huge difference. Fingers crossed for your 3rd trailer in the near future 🤞🤞

  • Remodeling company here and we are still looking for a great and inexpensive drafting software to help us draw up bathrooms and basements. 3D is key to helping customers understand what their space can look like. Sketch up seems to be great with visual but it doest give our team all the measurments needed to actually do the work.

There are several specifically for remodeling.. I think the most popular is cedreo. That said, i think you can take some outputs from like a giraffe360 or even matterport and have it go into sketch at scale. For more advanced stuff, there are several companies using generative AI to not only help with the remodling pre-build but even automatically create take-off lists (material quantities, phases, etc). Some of these are ibeam.ai and kreo.... but the main tool is planner5d for most companies.

Sounds like you're really focused on delivering a great visual experience for your customers! What 3D drafting software have you used? Maybe someone in the community has suggestions for the perfect balance between visuals and accuracy. 👀

A steam cleaner sounds like a fantastic investment. I never skip a steam cleaning tiktok video because they're so satisfying. 😆 Do you have a brand that you prefer?

Believe it or not, for high use, we've had pretty good success with the Harbor Freight one with a roll-around body.  The no-question returns with the 2-year replacement program come in handy!

I own a pooper scooper business so my rake really is my main Tool and has made me hundred of thousands of dollars, but things we're supper stressful behind the scenes to make sure everything went smooth for the customers. I started using Jobber about 1 1/2 year into business and was glad I took the winter to learn the CRM.

oo smart move to take the time to dive into Jobber during slower period like during the winter. It's amazing how such a simple tool like a rake can lead to so much success! Who would've thought?

A good CRM and bookkeeping software can be game-changers for staying organized and efficient. And a dump truck sounds like a huge upgrade for a landscaping business!
