Forum Discussion

  • I joined  around 20 Facebook community town groups, where I post updates every Monday. Additionally, I share new content every four days to keep my pages fresh and current.

I just joined two local groups and post once in two weeks. Just find that posting and reminding all of the neighborhood each week might be too much, but it's just me.

Totally get that—it's all about finding the right balance. Have you noticed a difference in engagement with your posts every two weeks? It’d be interesting to see how posting frequency affects response rates in your area.

Keeping active in your local community groups - that's a great strategy! Any specific types of content that seem to get the most interaction?

I just post latest jobs that I did to showcase my services.

  • Post a minimum of 3 times a day.

    1. Post about your industry.
    2. Post something funny.
    3. Post something informative.

Show some humanity, show that you are more than just your business.

Minimum 3 times a day! Wowee. Do you handle the social media side of the business or is there someone else who takes that on for you?

You can schedule them out in Facebook to post at specific times and dates. We like to plan a few weeks out. But a lot of the time, my husband who is the Electrician makes at least one of those posts everyday.

3 times a day? Is that the new standard? Just seams like a lot.

I'm not sure I'd want to post 3 times a day, but I like your ideas about something informative, something funny, and something about the industry.

I like this prompt for ChatGPT. Give me 5 content pillars to post about for my dog waste removal business to reach customer that would be interested in hiring a professional pooper scooper.

We are struggling with what to say that isn't just repeating the same message. How do you keep people engaged?

We use ChatGTP to create us a posting schedule and content. Of course we edit exactly what GPT gives us.

I hear you—coming up with fresh content can be challenging! One idea is to show off your day-to-day work. Post short clips of your team in action, before-and-after shots, or even client testimonials. You could also mix things up with how-to tips, like 'best practices for gutter maintenance' or 'quick cleaning hacks.' Have you noticed any specific type of post that gets more engagement? It might be worth experimenting to see what resonates best with your local audience.

  • Don't forget video content is gold too! It doesn't have to be highly produced, candid videos of your work with some commentary is great content. Just like going to gym, it gets easier the more consistent you post.
