Business Cards 🪪
What do you include on your business cards and when/where do you hand them out?
That’s a really innovative way to share your info! It must make the interaction quite convenient for both you and potential clients. Do you feel like using Linq helps with follow-up or staying top of mind compared to more traditional methods? Or is it a bit hard to tell?
I think it's a bit hard to tell, but I just think that nobody pays attention to the regular cards anymore. I'd rather be in the potential customers contact list as AB Finish Carpentry with all my social networks plugged in to the profile, than just another paper card in the wallet that nobody uses. But this is just me.
i do admit, it is super helpful when a business has all their socials and relevant links in their profile. I feel like with physical business cards, you have to guess/determine if your customers are more old-school vs ones who prefer the latter!
We live in a community with a very old school demographic, so we are always asked for business cards. I have tried numerous times at community events to have our social handles front and center but they always take the cards. Some of our customers don't even have emails much less social media they use. We get asked while out and about, social events, and a lot of neighbors and walkers when on a job. Our business clients ask for a bunch of cards to hand out for us while they recommend our services. We include contact info and website and what we do.
